What crazy things do you and your teammates have in common? Follow the steps below to find out!!


Learn About Wikispaces and Set Meeting Time

  • Go to http://wikispaces.com and create your own account.
  • Log in to you account and familiarize yourself with the Wikispaces. You can select help to get additional help with the tool. At a minimum you should be able to post text and images to your wiki.
  • Use the Sakai course discussion to set a time to meet synchronously with your team. Pick your chat or video conference tool of choice for the meeting and make sure everyone has an account.

Find Out Three Things You Have in Common

  • You have 15 minutes to meet your teammates and find out three things you have in common.
  • Don't use of common things like age, gender, hair color. Try to think of unusual or unique things that no other team might be able to come up with.
  • Be creative and have fun with this!!

Post to Wikispaces

  • Decide amongst yourselves how you would like to break up the following tasks as a team.
  • Create a team Wikispaces page and give all team members permission to edit. To set who can view and edit your wiki, click on Manage Wiki and Permissions.
  • Post your 3 things in common to the team wiki. Please include a brief description of how you have these things in common. Include an image to accompany each thing you have in common.
  • Restrict team wikispaces for all other users to view only.
  • Email the link for your team wiki to your instructor: ringbauers@missouri.edu

Sara, Theresa and Joel

1. One thing we have in common is that we all work well under pressure. We all have a lot of deadlines for school and work and often end up working late hours to meet them.

2. We all enjoy gardening. Right now all of us are growing tomatoes which are about to become ripe.

3. We all are musical. Theresa played the trumpet in high school. Joel plays drums. Sara plays the trombone.
